Not Friends Special Edition is a remix album by LOONA. It was released on October 27, 2021 and consists of remixes of “Not Friends” from the single “Maxis by Ryan Jhun Pt. 2” in Ryan Jhun’s music project Maxis By Ryan Jhun.
It is sung by LOONA members HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Yves.

“Not Friends” is a pop number reflecting K-pop trend-setter Ryan Jhun and his team’s color, with an attractive sound that seems to straddle the border between acoustic rock and hip-hop. Standing out are the lyrics painting a bold desire to break down the boundary between friend and lover, and the veteran tempo control that has a calm delivery breaking into swagger-laden vocals. The music video by Sunny Visual director Yoo Sung-kyun, which expresses the LOONA members as four killers in pursuit of a mysterious object, reflects LOONA’s lore to increase immersion with the music.
